Chocolate Chili Recipe
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans
- 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 2 (4 oz.) cans sliced mushrooms
- 1 lg. onion, chopped
- 1 (6 oz.) can pitted ripe olives, drained and chopped
- 1/4 c. chili powder, less for mild flavor
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 2 tbsp. horseradish mustard
- 1 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. sage
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. ground cumin (optional)
Brown meat in a large skillet. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Simmer covered for 1 hour.
